The Little Things

I love stores like TJ Maxx, Burlington Coat Factory and Marshall’s for little knick knacks. Their “Home” section where you can rummage through to find table settings, picture frames, journals, beautiful home decor, sofa pillows and the like is awesome sauce. Here’s a few of the things I found while shopping last week.

This says it all.

I couldn’t resist this journal. It says: “Let the beauty of what you love, be what you do.”- Rumi

Hope to use this everyday.

Here’s what the inside looks like:

I love Rumi's quotes on the blank pages on your left & the lined pages for writing on your right.

I’d want this on my wall in a place I could see it daily.

love this!

In my new place I want to paint my bedroom walls a vibrant red. This would be perfect for one of the walls. Oh, if you want to get it for me, well…

this will look great on a red wall.

I’m learning that I don’t enjoy shopping. I like buying gifts for people, and I don’t mind going in to a store to buy something for myself if I know exactly where said item is. But I don’t necessarily enjoy the searching through clothes racks looking for that great dress in your size, or trying on every nude pump you like to find the right one for the right price. But stumbling upon these things made me smile.

Fellow non-shopper here 🙂 I feel as if shopping is a chore invented to torture me lol.

Long live online shopping….a gift from God. ha ha lol.

I have red walls in my BDR. I love colors as well. I want to have my quiet room painted a deep purple with the quote “Become who you are.” written everywhere.

You picked out some great items. I love words.

  • As a religious fashionista, I can’t help but feel obligated to say I love shopping. But in all honesty, online shopping is my muse! You can not beat convenience! I do still love the shopping experience, but I could go quite a while without shopping and feel perfectly fine. That may partially be due to my college student finances though..haha. Anywho, enjoyed the article, as usual, and I do enjoy those department stores…thank you Sears Roebuck and Macy’s for paving the way.
